Sometimes seasons drag on and on...like this winter that has lingered coming in blasts covering the ground with snow or drenching our commutes with downpours. Strings of sunny days feel few and far between...and yet, they will come. They always do, but the waiting can feel heavy. Together, we wait...and rally one another along, to be patient, to anticipate the change that has to be just around the corner.
I sit in the Starbucks, the new one just across from the mall on #10 Hwy. I come to places like this to notice things...learn things...about people...about myself. The more fully I am present in these moments, the stolen moments of noticing, the more my noticing gives life meaning.
